My Premium Malwarebytes Experience

Hello again.

As I told you in the last post that in this post, I’ll talk about my Malwarebytes experience and the review of their premium subscription.

So, let’s get started, people.

Installation

The installation was easy and fast (unlike McAfee).

Anti-Virus

Quick/Schedule Scan

In some cases, the device will be slow during this operation and sometimes not, but most of the time will be slow.

Real-Time Scan

The real-time scan was okay.

Custom/Full Scan

Of course, this process is heavy in any anti-virus program and takes hours to complete. It depends on your disk usage space.

Important Note: Never run a full or large custom scan unless you will not use the device.

Speaking of Malwarebytes scans, I have to tell you a story of what this weirdo program did.

I was just using my device normally, and Malwarebytes came out of nowhere and decided to run a full custom scan on a partition (I don’t know why exactly this partition), and it comes with dozens of malwares, and this malware was just normal cracks and cracks inside archives. And started to delete a lot of archives and programs (some programs were larger than 6Gb), and of course, the device was extremely slow. I cannot stop the scan, and I cannot do anything. That was fuckin’ horrible, I just had to wait until this psychopath stopped. And then I restored every deleted item and guess what? there was NO real threat! This was just in the imagination of Malwarebytes.

From my experience, I do not recommend Malwarebytes. It is always slow and it makes the device slow. Also, because sometimes it tells you there is a real threat when there are no actual threats at all.
