Changing The SSH Default Port Actually has a Legit Positive Effect

Some people say that changing the SSH default port doesn't really matter. But it actually matters.

I tried to leave the SSH default port intentionally as it is for a while, got hundreds of failed logins, and then changed it to some random port, and it did actually have a legit effect, and got literally 0 failed logins for over a month now.

This screenshot demonstrates that there were 20 failed logins after 20 mins. This is huge! That means every single minute passes, you get 1 failed login attempt; that's a fucked up situation!

While in the next screenshot, it’s literally 0.

The same thing goes for SMTP and other services.
